I have just bought a 12 foot leeda rod the riptide power cod multiplier there must be a art to using this reel I went to the local field to test it out only hit 70 yrds on first try ond second cast It bird nested . went back home and cut off the line returned to the field only to bird nest again. ops: I recon this reels to complicated whats the idea with all these brakes and clutches :? first time its to loose and the next its too tight i give up I think ill go back to my close face reels i reckon this is easier

you just have to get the setting right

once thats sorted you will have no problems

keep your thumb close to the spool too so as soon as it hits the ground/water you can stop it
