| hi ppl, i just thought i'd pick your brains b4 planning this thursdays little jaunt. red mullet- do they feed at night? i was thinking of targeting the chesil conger again seeing as one gave me the slip on the last neap, but i'm havering towards a solent session on an ebb for sole/silvereels or possibly a redmullet. any thoughts much appreciated, gj. __________________ 2008, sessions..25, total blanks..3 species,..20 its easier for a man to destroy the light within himself than to defeat the darkness all around him. |

| Re: red mullet,? Cant say for sure in your area but in Sussex (Shoreham) we catch more red mullet in darkness than in daylight. Small hooks with either lug or any rag should catch them if they are around. ![]() |
