I've said before, half jokingly, buy my ticket and I'll bring N to you cheeper. A couple of mates have taken me up on it. The £ is even stronger now...let me know if you want something....

Plus you'd be suprised how much stuff is different from the same Companies. Shakespear doesn't sell seat boxes here, no-one does. No-one sells Tripods. No boilies either, I've had to make my own. Haven't caught $h!t on them YET, but I'm still determined to. s);o)

Mate, how are you making your boilies? what base mixes etc? I make a fair bit of my own bait, if i can help in any way, pm me.

Saw the Calcutta stand at a trade show last year, the shads do look very good, i must admit, whether they are any more effective than others, i don't know, you pays your money and takes your choice i guess.

Re: Calcutta Lure's My Write up

I never used to use shads I always had eddystones and muppets. Half the lures on monster fishing I've never had let alone existed when i started fishing. some times with lures simple is the most effective, in my view.

Re: Calcutta Lure's My Write up

Mate, try and get hold of some fishmeal, semolina/soya flour and use a third of each to make about 500g, break 5 large or 6 medium eggs into a bowl, add 20ml soya or salmon oil and about 5ml of oyster sauce/thai fish sauce, plus a bit of saccharin, not much tho, mix it up inc any colouring you want, add your dry mix gradually till you ger a pliable paste, roll into balls/sausage shapes and boil for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, allow to cool and freeze, then use one on a hair rig with 20 or 30 baits scattered around it, 2 oz running rig should do it. PM me if i can help anymore

Re: Calcutta Lure's My Write up

Sounds like a plan, BUT..... I can't scatter baits around...that would constitute "chumming" in Nebraska.
Its unfortunate tho how often and clumsy I am, and "lose" so much bait casting to the same area.....

Thanx
Nelson
