| Oban Shark Just got back from three weeks diving in the Oban areas. On the second week i was diving a few miles south of Oban ,on returning to the surface and getting into the boat the lads were all excited about a big shark that had been swimming around my float and that they had eventualy scared off. I said it would only be a Basking shark so there was no need to worry, but every single one said not a chance,it never had the shape of a basking shark nor the classic head. They said it was very dark in colour and broad and deep and having got within feet of it were 100% sure it was no basking shark. It had the classic large shark fin and its tail fin was out of the water, these lads have seen plenty of sharks from basking sharks in our waters to nastier ones in the gulf and south china seas so they are no mugs. They reckoned iot was about 10ft long in length Anyway does anyone know what it might have been?? Big Porbeagle?? __________________ Come on you HULL! |
