Taking Level Wind Off a Mulitplier?

Hi all,
after a previous attempt of trying too get the level wind off my multiplier it almost ended up broken, i am thinking of doing OTG and pendulum casts and i dont think a level wind will stand much chance... Is there anyone that can help please?
