| Shore fishing in france, any help please! Hi all, i'm off to france at the beginning of august and i'm staying at a campsite about 5 minutes from the beach on the west coast of france in the vendee so i thought i'd try a bit of shore fishing. I am very new to sea fishing and i have only been twice before so i was wondering if any one knew anything about sea fishing over there and so suggest what to fish for and what rigs and bait to use. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I also managed to find the place i was staying and the strip of beach i can walk to on google earth so i took a print screen of it and you can see it here, i thought it might help and maybe somone could suggest the best spot along there to fish: http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/5738/franceeh0.png Thanks James ![]() |

| Re: Shore fishing in france, any help please! Hi, Iv been told in the past that its not much different from the south coast over here except you see the more tropical species more often than you do over here Normal beach tactics should work with worm baits or go to a tackl shop over there and speak to them (if they speak english) if not just see what baits they have for sale and maybe look at a fishin magazine over there if they have any to see the local species __________________ |
