Wink Re: best colour shads / worms etc???

Hi Blokes, we've tried all different colours in the Rapala Storm Shads colours in different situations. The blue mackerel Storm shad is the most popular for bassing over reefs and banks, closely followed by the green mackerel, pearly white and mullet coloured versions. The orange and the red/white Storm shad seem to work best for Cod and Pollack offshore. Pity they don't sell them in mixed colours, instead you have to buy six of just one colour ! We use the 4 inch version mostly as the take normally guarantees a good hook up rate with a good hook hold. The 5 inch is okay and often takes the bigger fish but choice is yours. Hope this helps, these Storm shads really work ! Malc 'True Blue', Poole, Dorset, UK.

Re: best colour shads / worms etc???

ye the storm shads are the best shad by far

i found the blue and the pearl are the best ones

dont like using the bigger ones (5inch) just think the smaler ones catch more and stil get the bogger fish
