It's no good lying about it, it is a tough thing to witness. I'm glad I didn't have to go through with it. You feel pretty useless actually, but I think the best thing you can do is just let your wife find her own head place and then support her in that. There is a certain point where they just 'go away' to some other place where we don't EVER want to venture.... But at that point it is nearly over. Seeing the sheer relief and joy on her face when it's all over and she is holding your new baby is something to behold. Hope all goes well for you and the good lady. Take care. | Re: Introducing.... well done paul lots of sleepless night to come as should know but mine out when you find yourself talking with other parents about baby things as its relly is crazy the stuff you find yourself talking about ie how wonderful mothercare is what the best nappys to get its like a whole new world that you never new exsisted as for the birth (Simon TorbayFishing) after 20 odd hours waiting for the wife to drop dont let her cacth you sleeping as it pissed my wife of big time i cant think why :-) __________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. -Dr. Seuss |

There is nothing like watching our own child come into this world and it dawning on you that you you are responsable for something other than yourself. I real wake-up call. I love it. |
