| I'm off fishing at Challaborough over the weekend and as bait is hard to get hold of in the immediate area without time consuming digging / netting I have bought a few spinners for the bass that I've been told are very good. However, I have also heard people talking about shads a lot, are these successful from the shore or only really used in boat fishing? If they can be fished from the shore what is the method? Are they used as spinners / lures and reeled in or can they be used as an artificial worm and fished on the bottom with conventional rigs in place of rag / lug? Told you it was a stupid question, just shows how little I know! Oops, forgot to ask how you hook them! ![]() |

| Re: Stupid Question storm shads are the only good shads to use from the shore i think they are already weighted and hooked so you just use them like a spinner but need to let them sink quite a lot __________________ |
