| Re: Daiwa AWB 129 hi creedy, yep, imho awb series is the dogs danglies, i've a 129pm and a 122 and i wouldn't swop them for anything . mind you i ain't much of a tackle tart so most of my kit gets used to the point of destruction till i replace them. i've always trusted diawa rods as i've found their top of the range stuff always faultless. 129 -lots of power for distance plus a usable fishing tip for bite detection. for me-good for otg or pendulum casts and happiest with 5-6oz where as the 122 seems to prefer 4-5oz and pendulums but thats prob just my casting style. they've been around a while now though don't know if the newer models by penn ,zziplex , etc are any better , though they may be lighter with newwer materials/construction. __________________ beer so many venues, so little time. |
