Any Mack about yet??????

I know it sounds silly but thought I would ask as the triggers and smuts were still here at Christmas. Chesil looked gorgeous today, just like a perfect feathering afternoon in the summer.

Re: Any Mack about yet??????

You're right GH but I am really busy with work. I started making air rifle silencers recently and it is taking off really well and I am sending them all over the world. You know what they say about all work and no play, I don't want to make Jon a dull boy. I'm having Saturday off to go to the game fair at Shit'n'smellit.

Do you do a silencer to fit a .22 BSA Meteor? I keep one for getting rid of Magpies & the odd Rat that comes through our garden from a neighbours Chicken run.

Yep, can do one for you. Will just need an accurate barrel diameter from you, to within 2 decimal places if possible as I make them .1mm larger than the barrel for a good fit.

Have a look at my website www.silencers4u.co.uk

Re: Any Mack about yet??????

Plenty showing on the Lizard at the moment...mostly on the spring tides.

Fish to near 1lb 12oz already caught. I had 5 last week in an hour....biggest just under 1lb 3oz. All fell to sandeel on the float, fished at 15 - 20 feet depth.

A couple of other guys came along with very long strings of feathers I estimate 8 - 10 per rod, and proceeded to catch roughly 20 each.

Always going to have an advantage whern using alot of feathers at this time of the year as the mackerel are still shoaling up. Not sure if I agree or not

Anyway the next 3 weeks should see more mackerel shoaling.
