ye i know about them

i caught one for the first time last year

didnt know how to hold it so just left the trace in and asked someone

i had it mulleting to so i had it on a feeder rod and little reel on a size 8 hook :?

great fight though

i think mullet fight harder though but that maybe because the trigger was smaller than most mullet iv had

Paul, you mentioned making a weekend of it. We could throw in a boat trip too. There is a skipper out of Poole who runs a boat called Just Mary and he is a keen angler who goes after Bream on light tackle. He reckons end of April for a 3 week period is really good sport. Carp rods and 10lb line. There have been days when a full charter had 200 fish over the side!

Just an idea, especially as it's all over in 3 weeks.

Steve, not sure how it would work for you. Could you convince your dad to stay up for the weekend?

I was thinking maybe during the summer... just to get the time away from work, and gives people plenty of time to prepare..

Plus the daylight hours will be longer... 8)
