| The last few years my local trout water as seen an invasion of signal cray fish, we use to have great fishing in june on the g+ h sedge this is now gone. Is it down to these little monsters. We set a trap over night to see the numbers of them ,14 pound in one night was the result. Is trapping the way to go or are we stuck with them. The water is 12 acres and contains rainbows and browns. |

| Re: signal crayfish Signal Crayfish look like they are pretty unstopable once they get in a water they are reportedly in my local Macclesfield canal and spreading fast. The only consolation is that the Perch are growing nicely on them with some big Perch reported. I have purchased a Crayfish trap recently off ebay and intend to drop it in the canal when i get chance to see for myself where they are and it may lead me to some good Perch fishing. robm |
