Woodlakes, norfolk help

Hi there thinking of booking a lodge here during june/july times, dont get to do much fishing out and about really, was just looking to see if there was any more upto date reviews people would like to add ?i have emailed them but didnt get a reply yet.

is there a preference on lodges which are situated in a better place than others ie. end cabins ?

what kind of stuff people been using ? anybody got any pics of the place as the ones on thier site seem a bit dated ?

thanks for all your help people look forward to some reading

Re: Woodlakes, norfolk help

I had a two week Holliday at wood lakes , it was very good the cabins are really close to the lake you can fish that lake untill 10pm but if you want to fish into the night you have to move away from the cabins. There are so many good spots to fish on the other lakes that you won't get bored. I caught some nice big commons on the method feeder. It's well worth taking a stalking rod and moving about a bit rather than sat in the same spot all the time. I'd recomend it to anyone and will go again.

Re: Woodlakes, norfolk help

Our cabin was in the middle, they all have there own swim, I don't think it makes much difference what cabin you have in regard to what swim is the best as its quite a large lake in front of the cabins use a spod or pva bags should get you fish on that lake regardless of what cabin your in. I preferred the other lakes to be honist and only fished at the cabin for a few hours in the mornings before heading out to the other lakes.
It was last year in the summer I was there.
