How do I know the net head will fit the pole?

I'm about to fish a reservoir soon, with some pretty big pike, and they say I have to have a 33" landing net.
Is this the length of one side of the triangular net?
So I had a look round and I found a net head for £13.
Only problem is, I don't know if it will for the pole i've already got.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I`m pretty sure the thread is a standard one ,so the heads should be interchangeable ...

The actual thread is 3/8" B.S.F (British Standard Fine) in case you need to clean the threads out with a tap or dienut.
If your not in engineering - ask a mate who is to borrow 1.
