| What a WASTE My boss has just bought moved house to Weybridge - he says it's about 250 yards from the river (would that be Thames or Wey ??) & he does'nt fish. I told him it'd be still worthwhile buying a rod & reel even if he did'nt bother with the fishing - it gets you way from the wife for the day. But i'm not jealous (yeah whatever). ![]() __________________ Fishing - the best fun you can have with your clothes on. |

| Re: What a WASTE My grandparents live about 30 feet from a stream, and their yard is held back by a sea wall about 11 feet high. The stream is maybe 2.5 feet deep at the bottom of said sea wall. Their house is further elevated about 3 feet. In 1977, a few months before I was born, there came a flood so grand that there was water in the living room floor. Other than that one day it's been great for them in the 50+ years they've lived there. There has been much angling accomplished over the decades, by my grandfather and myself. __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner |
