saladdodger has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Been digging for worms

Been in the garden for ages digging worms up, soaked the grass to try and get them to the surface, i have about 15 but only 5/6 big ones.

Any tips on getting the slippery buggers to show face

Cheers

Re: Been digging for worms

Put a damp hession sack over a patch of grass ,leave it a day or so will draw them up. Or try drumming on the surface ,brings the worms up, if you watch the birds ,they stamp their feet to draw the worms up and nab em as they surface ...

Re: Been digging for worms

wet ground well, place a large piece of cardboard, like an old box, wet that and leave for a couple of days. When you lift the box, should have worms there, replace box , rewet and revist every few days. best in a dark damp corner of the garden where not too much of an eyesore.
