Reel help

I have bought floating braid (0.36mm) for drifter fishing for Pike and I want a new reel to put it on.

My mate has an Okuma Interceptor which is perfect, but they are now discontinued, dammit!

Any ideas on what I could get? Note it needs to hold AT LEAST 200m of my 0.36mm line, but preferably it will take 250m+ (I'm planning on really using the drifter float) lol.

It must have a bait runner on it as well.

I don't want to pay a fortune either as it will only be used a few times per year. Maximum price is around the £40 mark.

Any help appreciated!

Also, I would like a spare spool to come with whatever reel I buy. Simply because I want to fill one spool with floating braid and the spare spool with sinking braid.

okuma spector ,okuma epix pro,there are hundreds look on flea bay mate youl find what you want,,there are some interceptors on there

Buying a reel to suit the line lol
If you put a tenner to that 40 you could get a shimano baitrunner ST 10000, fantastic reel , got two myself

Lol I know mate, it's been a nightmare!

I have one of those Shimano's loaded with 15lb mono for my piking. It is class I love it. My ONLY problem with buying another one is that you don't get a spare spool with it!

thats the rip off with shimano id get a daiwa emcast you wouldnt go far wrong i use mine for carp pike and sea and they come with spare spools my old okuma epix came with two spare spools 10 bearings and bait runner ,,, why pay 100,odd quid for a reel and have to fork out for another spool jokes

I use a dedicated reel shimano 8000 baitrunner just for my pike float rod I'm just changing the line to go for fireline Crystal just for the the job of drifter float fishing!
