still some more gear id like: fishing chair, bite alarm, unhooking mat, scales and a bivvy.

Sounds nice, the only reservation I have is the '10ft' Omni Match rod as I think that 10ft is a tad too short for casting small and medium sized wagglers more than a rod length or two out, because I think you might have trouble picking the line up off the water fast enough on the strike, I would much prefer a 12 or 13ft rod for float fishing, but the rest sounds good.

Hey dude, i bought it cause it was £20 and a starter rod, ive not been out much at all as my transport broke down soon after so im in the middle of sorting that.

I think i may ask santa clause for a 13ft and pass this one on to my missis as she want to fish as well, she doesnt cast she just drops it in right under the tip, caught bigger fish than me a

Any recommendations of a 13ft rod??

Shakespeare do a 12ft version of the < OMNI Match rod > for around £26, if you like the OMNI rods.

Shakespeare make good rods.

I've just bought a 12FT Shakey Omni Feeder rod which looks like a great rod with 2 extra tips all for £20. Hopefully it'll do the business.

It the first shakey i bought, i like the look and price as a starter, i like trying different makes of stuff as well.
