Lunar fishing calendar?

Does anyone believe in fishing by a lunar fishing calendar?

I just found this new site that looks pretty interesting, but I don't know if it really works...It seems like local weather patterns, especially cold fronts affect the fish bite more than the moon phase.

I haven't looked into it myself but I include the moon phase on my web site for anyone who is convinced that is makes any difference to their fishing.

However I used to be a Meteorologist/Oceanographer in the RN and whenever we went night fishing on the Kennet we kept a log and we always seemed to have our most productive nights when the air pressure had steadied after a drop in air pressure but it wasn’t quite as good while the pressure was still dropping.

I have had good night fishing on warm overcast nights but I have also had good nights on warm clear nights watching shooting stars and with a bright moon in the clear sky so I think that temperature and air pressure both have an effect, but I am yet to be convinced about the moon phase having much of an effect, however I’m open to any evidence from other anglers.
