| Catch report so went to foulridge resevoir weather looked ok but overcast slight drizzle hear and there but not ehough to put off a session, got to the water and there were fry everywhere little ripples as they were topping looked like rain right across the margins any way started setting up using my carping gear ugraded line to 15lb and bought some new traces also 15lb . end gear was a small jelly perch and took a few spinners also bought a new plug called realistic roach made by masterline apart from having no tale once it was in the water it was very convincing . at the moment i was about to cast there was a massive splash off to the left so changed direction and cast over the spot started reeling back using the perch lure first cast nothing second cast nothing third cast bit of a ripple in the water and a small bite (starting to look hopefull )so cast over the spot again and this time there was a more definate bight struck into it and nothing on reeling whatever it was had bitten off the tail of my jelly so on with the roach plug medium sinker . after half an hour of cast and retreive not a single bite so called it a day and packed up still it was nice to get back on the water it was quite enjoyable despite not catching better luck next time eh. __________________ give a man a fish and feed him for a day ,teach a man to fish and he will be gone for a week fishing is a discipline in the equality of men ,for all men are equal in the eyes of a fish |
