glosdocksangler is on a distinguished road
River Severn - Gloucester/Quedgeley way

evening chaps,

new season is approaching swiftly and i've only ever really fished local canals want to try my hand at the river severn, problem is i have no idea where is fishable, both on a access point of view and from what is fishable at all.

i live in gloucester and was wondering if anyone could let me know of any places that are reasonably close (up to 45 minute drive, although ideally alot shorter) or let me know if there are any booklets/guides anywhere that detail fishing locations for any local rivers?

thanks in advance!

Re: River Severn - Gloucester/Quedgeley way

hi mate , sandhurst is good

Go down sandhurst lane past the camp then past the chinse over the first steam and 100yrd over and pull over on the right

you can walk across the field with the stream to your left and there are lots of pegs up stream.

well i say pegs what i mean places you can get down to the river

loads of silvers on swimfeeder mate and last year it was a fish a chuck and there are some big fish here too

I will be giving it ago this session again so if you ever fancy a partner just shoot me a line
