| trip out report Decided to catch the good weather and go on a carp hunt with 2 mates ,ended up at a great little pool just outside bewdley near brum,anyway little lulu (daughter) wanted to come so packed her rods with my carp gear got to the pool early it was already sun drenched my mates and me and lulu set up and away we went me and graham had 2 carp a piece in the first hour only pasties on halibut pellets and crab boilies ,,lulu had enough of watching the buzzers so decided on her float rod ,,she was straight into the roach , then a couple of bream by this time me and the lads were intent on throwing her in as she carried on hauling fish from the pool her best point was when she landed an 11 pound carp on three pound line after a lengthy battle ,,so nice to watch a 12 yr old girl give the lads a lesson in fishing ,she did loose another carp late on then had a break to hit one of my rods as the buzzer went off i was answering the call of nature all in all a great day and for a 5ver a rod who can complain pleanty of sport on the floaters too ,,,if anyone intrested it was darnells pool on the tenbury bewdly road great little spot and away from the kids and drunks lol aand the owners are charming and friendly will deffo go there again as a rig testing venue      |

| Re: trip out report thats great shown up by an 12 yr old, well done Lulu. i can't wait till my little'un is old enough to take fishing. she's only one, so have a while to go yet. __________________ If it was easy, it would be called catching. | Re: trip out report Great report Chazyboi, sounds like it was a good day, and as usual the kids show us up - particularly the girls too - for some reason they tend to be really good anglers, but I suppose you will say she had a good teacher, lol. |

| Re: trip out report she grew up with a fishing rod in her hand took her at 6 with a whip she caught a roach rest is history its got that bad my mates ask if she wants to come lol mind you a caravan on the broads helped lol ,,,i like to see kids of all ages fishing saves em being on the street being a pain ,i would love to run an angling thing at the school i work at but bloody health and saftey always gets in the way ,, |
