as stated yesterday me and mini me got to our favourite lake in the wee small hours , it was a proper chilly one with mist and frost about it was a classic
pikers dawn

everything looked good,fry were everywhere,predators attacking them wherever you looked,it promised to be a good day,
alas it wasnt to be, i think they were so preoccupied with the fry they just were not interested in anything else,
deadbaits and lures were ignored all day,

it was a good day all the same,weather was nice,company was good and it was satisfying to watch mike working hard with his lure rod ,

if he dedicates that ammount of effort into his piking he is going to be a very successful angler and me a very proud dad,

well done son
