alright mate, shard end lake is alright, live in castle brom so about a five minute walk, never heard of a pike in kingshurst lake, think its mainly carp, i know it gets covered in blanket weed for most of the summer.

kingsbury isn't too bad for them but parking an day tickets soon add up lol

heard rumours of a white coloured pike in swann pool at kingsbury also.

if your close to castle vale or erdington there's always plantsbrook nature reservation, that has a few pike in but due to the size of the water its hard work lately.
