 Dodgy tackle cost me big fish!! Well went out on the local still water for a bit of carping only the second time this year so needed to put some time in ,set up the old quiver new reel (shimano baitrunner )method feeder and some korum quickstop hook lengths .getting a few knocks for the first half hour then got a definate take struck in and was into a decent fish that topped after about five minutes it was at least 12lb a nice olive green mirror then the line went slack as it made a lunge for the bottom  ,thought it had spat the hook but on closer inspection i realised the method feeder had snapped just above the ribs so all i had left was the stem at the top ,well thats the last time i buy preston innovation feeders think i will stick to korum like usually do from now on __________________ give a man a fish and feed him for a day ,teach a man to fish and he will be gone for a week fishing is a discipline in the equality of men ,for all men are equal in the eyes of a fish     |
