Hi Paul, With the flat method feeder your main line goes through the feeder and ties to a short hook length about 4 inches to a size 10 swivel where the hair has a rubber band to attach the pellet the size 10 swivel will then push into the feeder giving you a sort of bolt rig, Not sure if this makes sence best to ask your local tackle shop and they can explain and demonstrate how it goes together.
