feeder trouble

heya was just wondering if someone could help me.
i was wondering if i could use groundbait in a blockend feeder ?

blockend feeder are for maggots and small particle baits ,maybe if you removed the top and bottom it could be turned into a cage type feeder this would hold ground bait ,or you could just buy one .
