Re: Bit of waggler help please

Yeah thats what I thought. I need it to slide, but the top one that you use, i'd be scared to use it incase my float came flying off during a cast lol. I know it probably won't, but you know what I mean!

Re: Bit of waggler help please

I have only had one float come adrift and it was becase I hadn't pushed the adapter over the float base properly.
I sometimes have trouble pulling the adapter off without damaging the float at the end of a session and have to leave it permanently attached to the float base, but thats fine anyway..

Re: Bit of waggler help please

You can make your own, useing a swivel size ten and some latex/rubber sleeves. esp do the rubber sleeve, just cut a length of and put the swivel inside the sleeve leaveing one end of the swivel out

Re: Bit of waggler help please

Went to the tackle shop on my lunch there and picked up a 7g and a 9g bodied waggler, a pack of quick change beads for the float and some split shots for the line.

Out tonight to see if it works!
