Canals closed!!

my local canal has been shut due to lack of water feeding in from the resevoirs and everyone is complaining becuase they cant sail there boats ,well im not maybe for a change i can fish without having my swim disturbed every five minutes from passing traffic and ignorant people mooring there boats right on the peg im fishing from then saying sorry dint see you there (yeh right my a*se you didnt see me )it will be pure heaven for at least three months .

Nice one wish theyd shut the trent for a few weeks lol, the sailors , mainly women (sorry but its true) have a habit of not paying attention and drift right towards the bank dragging my gear with them. Bring your rods in you might say, well the trent is about 200 yards wide and there boats are about 5 yards wide and they still feel the need to dredge my peg and then smile stupidly as im trying to cut my line free.

hoping so spotted some big bream swimming round near my favourite spot and some nice sized roach also been a wee bit stormy up this way so dont know how long they will be shut ,might have to get a move on and do some fishin
