| ive found a lovely bit of river and its free fishing which is nice. I have a rod licence to fish for coarse fish and the river contains nice sized chub ,perch and dace so far so good but the angling syndicate up river stocked there stretch with brown trout so whilst im not intentionally targeting them a few ended up in my swim and i caught three where do i stand in terms of the law do i need to buy a game liscence as well even tho im not fishing for this type of fish ???????? ![]() ![]() __________________ give a man a fish and feed him for a day ,teach a man to fish and he will be gone for a week fishing is a discipline in the equality of men ,for all men are equal in the eyes of a fish |

| Re: confused HELP. you are not fishing for them so i see no problem,i have caught sea trout out of season on my local river,it cant be helped, they might start bleating if you knock them on the head and take them home |
