Question carp not feeding

does any1 have any ideas why carp in my local fishery are not feeding. The have sporned four weeks ago, the carp has not started feeding since then and the only ones that are the 2-3lbs and nothing else. I can understand the smaller one feeding 'cause the aren't mature enought but the larger ones eg. 20lbs are not. Ideas pls?

Re: carp not feeding

If they hav spawned you can bet your last pound that they are feeding ,
Most proberly on natural food
All you need to do is locate them ,
Try a chod , or a zig set at different depths , this time of yr they will be in between the mid to top water
Look for coloured water , ripples in flat water , flat water in ripples , plus all the other tell tail signs

Re: carp not feeding

Try different rigs, baits, methods. The fish may be tired of seeing the same old stuff day in day out. Alterantivley they may be being over fed depending on how busy the fishery is. But you have to expect big fish are wise and don't come out often patcience will tell. Also if they arn't being over fed and they have resorted to natural food tell the bailiff to feed bait in to get them back onto fishing baits. good luck.
