Re: How sad am i??? Mate if you're looking to go that much I would just go! I have my licence and my permit but am yet to be asked for it! I say go ahead... Then when you get yourself some work, you can get your licence then. Im guessing that you normally have a licence, yes?

Re: How sad am i??? not worth fishing without a licence, £2000 fine, and i have had mine checked 3 times in 4 years. If you can't afford the annual licence, can you afford a 1 day one. or go sea fishing, no licence required some commercials did not require a licence or if all else fails, borrow a mates licence for the day, they don't check your id, but of course I would not condone that!!! __________________ Life is understood looking backwards, but it must be lived forwards.

Re: How sad am i??? I didnt know the fine was so much! :O Why arent they catching these foreign nationals then? I see loads of them every time im out! When i bagged that 104 roach last week, i seen a foreignor walkin off with a bucket full of fish, to his car! Goin to make some roach stew no doubt... In portadown a bailiff was pushed into the river bann when he asked 2 foreignors for their licence!!!! and im quite certain that nothing was ever done about it.

Re: How sad am i??? Oh dear , here we go. I can guarantee that if a bailiff was pushed in the water then some "foreigners" are about to get their just rewards one way or another. I personally have been asking only once for my fishing license in the 32+ years I have been a maggot murderer. I have also only once been asked for my car license. Never have I been asked for my firearms certificate but then again I guess you just don't need one for a "decommisioned NIKE missile" like what I bought on ebay. Being out of work is a real bummer (I know , I've been there and I am SOooo glad not to be there at the moment), getting a criminal record will not help a future job search though . Hard as it is, if the license is a problem , then don't. Sods first law of thermal quantative easing says the minute you do it the teacher turns round. Big fine, record , not worth it. Never mind the "foreigners" they can bugger of back to Romania though there are other destinations for law ignoring scum bags to go home to as well. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk

Re: How sad am i??? yeh i know what ur all saying guys, I have always bought a licence in the past and will buy one this season eventually and until then i wont go fishing. Perhaps it would be an idea for the EA to do a direct debit or 4 monthly installments in advance, i know it isnt much money but when ur on a budget every penny has to be accounted for.

I know its very frustrating when you want to go but can ill afford to, I have to buy 4 of the bloody things and have never been asked to show them , but would never take the risk ( Mrs hates it when i put her in cash converters each march ) You can buy a 8 day is £10.00 , bloody expensive when a yearly one is 27 £ , but at least you would be out while saving up for a yearly one Direct debit rod licence http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk...ing/38073.aspx |
