Gwynedd Lakes

Hi i am new to the forum and hope you can help me out, i have just got back into fishing after a few years off accompanied by my 13 yr old son. I want to take him to Gwnedd Lakes in October for half term as a birthday treat, we are going to go for 3 nights and fishing for all fish types. Will the fishing still be good there in october with it being later in the year? Don't want to take him and not get stuck into the fish.
Thanks Andrew.

Re: Gwynedd Lakes

gwunedd lakes is very good in october and it was the only carp lake i fished before joining waa however i still fish it occasionally and had a 48 hour stint on there just before the ice came in only had one 11lb common out of there but considering the temperature i was very pleased with it, although i have never fished llyn y gors so i wouldnt be sure what it fished like compared to gwynedd.

Re: Gwynedd Lakes

Its not a patch on Llyn y gors , the fish are much bigger , better condition . Owned by people who actually know about angling , and dont talk total bollocks about the size of fish that are in their waters
