 FISHING. Why do we do it !!!! Ive just had the worst days fishing ever,it was one of those days were everything goes wrong, like hooking into the only small tree there and reels not working and bite alarms running out of batterys and it was raining and windy and to top it all off i lost three fish on floating bread. Ugh!! we are all dedicated anglers and most of us are addicted to it, giving it up, well it has crossed my mind from time to time, but I'm still at it after 50+ years and will probably carry on while I can still walk, once an angler always an angler lol!!. I prefer to fish early mornings and late evenings and once the sun gets high a little golf provides a little mid-day distraction until the evening feeding spells arrive. Fishing is undoubtably my favourite pastime by far but my perfect day is an early morning catching Tincas or stalking Carp on my local estate lake followed by a short game of Golf and a pint (or two) at hole 19 and a short afternoon snooze to break up the day; and once the sun gets low in the sky a few hours on my local stream catching some river pigs and/or chevins. to me thats a perfect day. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now) |
