| Re: when ??? The river season runs from June the 16th to the 14of March each year. Canals and lakes are open all year round, unless the waters owners or clubs decide that they want to close between March and June. Hope this Helps, ohh one more thing your rod licence runs from the 1st of April till the 31st of march.
