Re: funny

Remember to always pull in on a hard snag in a straight line, that way the line will always break before the rod, it's only when you pull the rod in a sideways direction does it risk breaking, I can speak with some experience because I have done exactly the same myself in the past fortunatly that rod was also only about 20 squid.

yeah pull straight BUT from experience DONT pull when your faceing the line i pulled a snag straight up a dock wall looking down the line broke had one of those moments where everythink is in slow motion watched the line break the floats coming towards me shall i go left or right the float got me smack in the nose blood pouring 3 mates rolling on floor helpless with laughter several others had a good giggle funny now bloody hurt my pride and nose at the time

Re: funny

you probably caught the plug.i normally point my rod down facing towards the snag, with the line taught then move from side to side hoping the hook pulls free.some times it works some times it doesnt but thats just sods law.
