There is forest preserve pond by my house, two times a year they stock the lake so us city people can catch trout

A lot of work fly fishing- pulling a 200lb skate from the bottom is hard work, being married is harder-fly fishing is rod-reel-line-leader-some flies. Boat, shore fishing is everything bar the kitchen sink. If i had that pond with trout in it i would fly only. Have a look at my post called my photos- thanks again lee. If you havnt tried it dont knock it, At least try it. Last year i had a bass on the fly-best feeling in the world. Try it and you will see what i mean. Tight lines. Last year i had 68 rainbows, 2 salmon and 400 wild brown trout on the fly, and on the spinner and the worm. I also do boat and shore and caught to many to list- but the fly is my favourite. Your choice but unless you try it you dont know the feeling that comes with it.

Philipn i get the same rush everytime i catch on the fly its-you know what i mean. I have always said if my wife the python she is- was my fly rod i would be in love, infact better still if she was the fly she would be eaten ide be free and that would be a rush, but not the same rush as on the fly- one word- heaven.

were more of a catch and release for coarse fish
