 Some advice please well went back to the lodge yesterday and took the quiver tip set up on a method feeder on one of the best pegs ,rig set up was 10lb utralite main line maver method feeder six inch hookength and white boilie topped with plastic corn sat for an hour and nothing  so swapped the boilie for pellet -nothing ,so swapped pellet for soft hallibut pellet-nothing,so swapped back to boilie this time pineapple topped with ultraspice curry paste 3 bites that was it then the heavens opened and guess what forgot my umbrella  how could my day get any worse is there something wrong with my methods or is it just the fish    |

| Re: Some advice please well i went back today and tried again left the quiver at home and took the carp rod on a bite alarm(so i could have a quick snooze if a started blanking again lol)this time i used micro pellet and hemp in the ground bait ,started a little shaky but one of the good pegs came up after an hour so moved swims 20 minutes later beep beep beep struck into a beutifull common of 5lb sat down and had a fag cast in again this time waited a little longer an hour to be precise but it went again beep beep beep this time it was a lovely mirror of around 4lb small but powerful fish had me scrapping for ten minutes before it topped and i could see its size .i was getting regular beeps after that but nothing concrete so packed up but it ended a three week blank for wich i am happy for |
