Daiwa emcast

Hi guys I'm thinking of getting a daiwa emcast advanced reel as I can't get on with the rear drag on my shimano baitrunner!
Can't seem to find much info on it online was wondering if anyone had one and could rate it?

Many thanks

Re: Daiwa emcast

I have the emcast 500 , Its a big pit reel with loads of line capacity and could crank in a tank, very solid
i use it for heavy distance deadbaits pikeing
its a good workhorse reel

but opposite too you i prefer my shimano 6000 rear drags( prefer rear drag on fixed spools as dont need to put hand infront of bail arm, but thats just me)

dave

horses for courses i suppose
