rusty lures

i have some old lures with a bit of rust on them, they are supost to be shiney bit they are not very. does anyone know how to get the rust off and make them shiney.

Best just replacing the trebles and rings as first pike comes along and it will smash an weak links mate

what you can do is get some wet dry coarse sandpaper (made for sanding fine metal objects)rub it back to silver then resharpen the hooks with emery paper ,but if they are really rusty id bin em and buy new ones

Rust can be removed but its probably easier and cheaper to buy new ones (they are relatively cheap)
