whats bad about fishing?

I like fishing but everybody knows there are some bad things about doing it these are the top ten bad things that happen when going fishing

10. Not getting your favourite peg
9. Not catching
8. Keep getting taffled
7. socks getting wet
6. Bad weather
5. Running out of bait
4. Forgetting your camera
3. Forgetting vital tackle
2. Taking the gear back to the shed
1. Loosing a fish

And let’s not forget the 1 billion other things that could go wrong. But every angler knows that if all of these bad things happen to you in the same day it only takes a good fish to make you feel better again.

What else can you think of to add to the list?

Re: whats bad about fishing?

5.casting out and your line snaps and you lose your expensive bass feathers
4.getting bluddy snaged ( grrrrr hate it)
3. running out of tackle just as the fishing gets good
2.hooking a massive mullet by mistake and you really wont to get it up, but you have to lift 25 ft out of the water and it rips through the lips and it swims off!
1.has to be when a massive boat goes right over you line while youve got a big fish hooked, your line and your fish get mangled in the propeler. also you lose all of your line cause the bar***rd wont stop

Re: whats bad about fishing?

Rubbish leavers & people that choose to fish the opposite side of a lake with their '3 rods' when they could just fish the actual swim or swims their casting into. Makes me glad to call myself a river angler sometimes.

Re: whats bad about fishing?

1,people in boats that think they own the water and have no consideration for any body else.
2,when you bring the wife then all she does is natter on for hours then throws a strop for you not listening.
3,when you drop somthin then kick it in the water as you bend down to pick it up gggggrrrrrrr.
4,when you realise you left some important tackle behind but your miles from home .
