Best bait for carp

Hey everyone,
Does anybody know what is the best carp bait. Plz post what carp bait has worked for you.

I am not a carp expert by a long way, but when i have caught carp to 9lbs i have always favoured using luncheon meat, and also by watching carping programs on TV i can say that boilies can be very effective when fished correctly but maybe wouldnt suite a beginner.

Make sure not to over look traditional baits such as Corn, maggots or bread as alot of the time they can produce some nice fish.

The best bait for me is 2 bits of fake corn on the KD rig.

i would say it depends on what size carp you are after mate, i tend to go for the bigger carp and i have to say boillies are what works best for me but a lot has to do with the venue, try checking to see what is working on the lake you are fishing as what works on one lake may not work on another.
