| River fishing bait I am looking for riverfishing bait i do not fly fish so flys are out the q for me i am looking to target eel trout and any other fast water fishing rigs for the bait would help as well but any freshwater bait and rigs i will be useing a 4lb main line and a 13ft float rod not the best but as i have no money and i am still useing my freinds rod thats all i have to use so any other help would be fab thanks guys you never let me down    __________________ Catch count 2009 8 Carps 7 Tench 4 Chub 12 Perch 2 Barbel 0 Pike 15 Trout 2 graylings 20 minnow 6 dace 1 eel 15 rudd 20 roach Biggest 8lb carp     |

| Re: River fishing bait sweetcorn (17p a tin tesco value works), cheese paste ( a bit of old cheese mashed up with bread, blue cheese is good, but past its best cheddar is ok). free bits from the garden like worms, slugs and ants eggs are also good. if you have a couple of quid spare, a pint of red maggots will give you excellent results. __________________ Life is understood looking backwards, but it must be lived forwards. |
