Ben you know i love the place but the fishing over low water will be a waste of time.
Lepe is by far the best venue with little weed and fishing over low water,but it looks like it stands little chance

I can't comment on Warsash or Lepe as I have never fished there. However I was impressed with Selsey last year. Easy parking, short walk, good pubs & food outlets & as it is a headland there is normally one side sheltered from the wind. I believe that there is even good Smutt fishing inside the harbour.

thats a good point! if the 2 sides of the headland ar either weedy or
or if its blowing a hooligan we can scoot round to the harbour!

From my initial thoughts of "oh no not weed filled selsey "i m now warming to the idea .
If its west beach we can park pretty close and if its to blowy there we can move east or further if necesary

iam in got the time off bring on the smutts any where will do me as long as the smutts or any fish are about, i ll leave it too you lads too sort the venue out as i have not been befor.

might have to if west beach is knee deep in weed like last year
thats why im a bit sceptical about selsey!
