Just thought i d let you know that pretty sound reports are that smuts have shown at pagham which is just around the corner so there here.
I think the big tides this week will produce a few

Will ad to that report of smutts at pagham and say that they have shown at selsey also so we should be bang on to the smutts in this meet!!! looking forward to it and if anyone can spare any crabs or now of any good priced source for crabs could they let us know as im sure many peeps are gonna try it hard to get the bait together!!

anyone treid baits direct frozen peeler???
if ther any good im taking them as a back up! as i dont wont to be running round like a loony at the last minute!

alot of reports about smuts taken in selsey, pagham bognor etc last year wher taken on squid so thatl be my back up then!
if im byeing in peeler how many you lads taking for the sesh!

tell you the truith id love to bag my first smut! but poosh come the shuv

all depends on the size of the crab really mate......im hopefully taking beach crabs so probably about 15 should last me the session as i should get about two or three casts out of one!! river crabs are slightly smaller so maybe 20 or so of them but im thinking of taking a packet of hermits with me for a back up just incase the smutts are going mad!!

ps.....have you been looking for crabs around your area yet? they where getting quite a few last week!!

i would look but i don,t knoiw where in my area or what the difference between peelers or other crabs
so i,m going to just buy a load somewhere i think
