hayling island ,

both venues have shops chippys , pubs with in throwing distance and both have free parking overnight , however my personal choice would be hayling island (eastoke) its deeper and will fish all states of the tide for those coming a long way , please note . mannings fishing and bait shop is no longer trading on hayling island ! the closest bait shop will be paiges tackle and bait on hayling (i will get the address and post code) now theres 2 dates to chew over ,

saturday 18th june

around a midnight high tide and at 4.5 one of the biggest of the month !

saturday 16th july

around 11pm high water and at 4.4 again another big tide !

For decent catches of hounds id opt for the first date , as i can see a few of you lads from the west breaking your personal bests and can honestly say we will see some decent hounds


If hayling island is opted for the meet , then stay away from groynes 24-25 as it will be practically unfishable , not a lot of weed shows on hayling so we should be in for a good nights fishing
