Re: Smutt meet 2010

Let's have a "non Smut meet".

Bound to catch some then!

Don't mind Chesil, Wales, Selsey, but shouldn't we wait until a touch nearer the time before putting anything in stone. Wait and see how things are shaping up a bit first?

Either way, and natural disasters excepted, I'll be there.....

Re: Smutt meet 2010

How about 2 parallel sessions; one in north wales for example, and one on the south coast, both on the same day. That's likely to attract more people, and nobody feels too hard done by.

Using the miracle of technology (mobile phones), we could send photos etc to the other 'team' to demonstrate how much better it is on the south coast

Just a thought...

Re: Smutt meet 2010

Good thought that.
Those on the Welsh coast could reieve pics of not only the fish, but of the gourmet food we are cooking up on the coast at chesil, or seaton.

Re: Smutt meet 2010

I think thats a wonderful idea but would take me 5 hours to get to North Wales or 2ish hours to get south. If you were to have it in South Wales then Aberthaw would be about the olny venue but I certainly would not be able to go there. So if we were to hold two meets I take it each individual would be able to pick which one they went to even if one was 20 minutes down the road.
