For Hayling on 10/7/10, HW is 10.52am/11.09pm
(medium rising spring).

A lot will depend on weather .... perhaps a reserve date might be an idea and I could call the weather/weed situation Thurs evening before the event?

For those travelling a long way, there is reasonable daylight fishing in calmish conditions (actually a SW 4 would be ideal) .... we don't get quite so 'weedy' here as inner-Solent/Selsey/Pagham.

Someone asked about Guest Houses .... remember it's High Season -

And by the way all the facilities I mentioned before are within 400m of Eastoke Car Park including take-away Chinese and Indian.

Thanks for the info Ada. It's not easy organising alternative dates with so many people attending though & people have already book days off work to attend. Can you suggest any other areas around Hayling that may be moe sheltered if conditions are not ideal at Eastoke?

Yep, all you need for smuts (the downside, of course, is that you rarely catch anything else; and remember 3 littluns are better than one man-eater!)

Not really .... the western side of Chi Harbour no longer has parking - "Yachit Club, keep orf!".

And anyway it only offers 2 hrs over high and over low and is incredibly weedy at that time of year.
