poll off possible dates for meet 2009

right i have been asked to give some dates if we fish seaton

last year the best fishing was in late may , most of june and early july but we did have a prolonged calm and warm spell at end of may, but this year we are haveing a better winter so its anyones guess

whatever dates are proposed they are going to clash with something its inevitable

I do however know a fair few of us are at a charity fishing event the first weekend of june so thats effectively out , and may be a bit early anyway,

and its sods law that the french trip is end june for some, whenb the fishing may be at its best

but here goes with some dates and after a discussion with rich down pub a few dates , and my 4 penneth worth as too when may be best( but please its not my fault if the fish dont play)

last year we found fishing was usually best over a late evening neap low
which in our estimation puts our preferred 2 dates as :

Sat 4th july was top of my list with a low at 11.36pm on a full neap

followed very very closely by

Sat 20th june (rich's prefered date) with a low at 11.21 pm just comeing off the neap

we couldnt decided which was better

it did also fish ok over the high as well but not as good and this puts up either

Sat 13th june when I will be there on a club match but that will not hamper the the meet that day as is a big big beach , or sat 27th june ( i cant make but will put up anyway as maybe it could be better for majority??)

so a poll is attatched, wont add more dates as four is probably too many anyway

will leave open for a while and see where the concensus takes us

4th July sounds good to me. I believe that's the height of the local Kebab season when they taste at their best. Should we do this years meet in Drag to make Bella feel at home?
